Dem sexy/dream guitars

My pickups were really bad, they buzzed wayyyy too much with any kind of distortion. I thought it was a single coil thing, but my Telecaster doesn't buzz on the single coil pickups.

Ah. Yeah, my pickups aren't the best. They used to feed back insanely bad, but then somehow they stopped? No idea how. They actually sound pretty decent now, but I can't get a very wide variety of tones out of them. Like they do a warm sorta dark sound really well, but bright clean they aren't good at.

So basically it's not good at making strat sounds then.

My dream guitar is a PRS Tremonti Signature. Probably wont get it in this colour but it looks like this:



Gonna cost me over $5,000 though, so it might be a while before I get one.

It's about $2k in the US, so it might actually be cheaper to fly here and buy it, then go back to Kiwiland.

Yeah that's an option. It'd still require some saving up though.
