Epiphone Les Paul Special I P90 Les Paul Standard I still have a lot of learning to do before I even consider buying a guitar but when I do it is going to be one of those two. Probably the first one.

The specials are okay, but they have a bit of a reputation for not being terribly durable. I've played one and it sounded okay, though it didn't feel terribly great. It was used though, and not terribly well looked after. Eh. I'd personally go for something a little more expensive and enduring, but it's an entirely personal choice
