They actually sing mostly in Icelandic. There is only one full album they use their fake language, 'Vonslenka' for, and there are a few individual songs on other albums that they use it for.

I can tell when they change because one time I sang a Jonsi song for a voice recital (fucking terrible btw) and in the process I became familiar with the Icelandic language in the sense that I can recognise it. Only know like six words though lol.

Track sounds good by the way.

Here's the song I mentioned in the Community Thread. I have vocals planned out.

You are an incredible lyricist.

Seriously, everyone else might as well just stop doing lyrics because I put the bar too high

After some rearrangements and re-recording, he's the second version of my song Ironies:

Kinda really proud of this one

Might end up rerecording vox though, I had to record at really low volumes and without warmups because it was pretty late

edit: oh and as per usual lyrics don't mean anything, was just trying to emulate The Antler's style really

New song with my current band. This is the first time I've ever recorded/mixed drums so that was a learning experience. I think it turned out pretty well considering I was only using a Shure Beta-57A and a Shure SM7B for everything, (guitar, vocals, and drums). And since I have no idea what I'm doing when mixing, haha.

I'll listen to your tracks since they've been here a while and no one has commented on them.

Grungie: I like it, the drums have some interesting, sort of unconventional parts. A little too much high end from the cymbals, but thats personal taste, to each their own.

WWF: Its weird, I like it, haha. I always want to do weird songs kinda like that but it always ends up just sounding like shit when I try to do it. The lyrics work well, its definitely the sort of song where you don't pay too much attention to what the words are saying.

Not a bad song, if I would suggest, I could run it through a lo-fi filter to make it sound EVEN shittier.

Haha, I'm not really big on lo-fi stuff, but I suppose with my limited equipment and recording knowledge I might as well do that and pretend it intentionally sounds less than stellar.
