That synthpunk stuff is surprisingly addicting.

If you would be so kind as to check out what I was working on tonight it would be appreciated. Turned out pretty well considering I was using toilet paper as a mic stand.

And I may or may not have a problem starting things and not finishing them, which you may or may not be able to tell from my soundcloud...

I would probably suggest panning the 2 guitars. Maybe having the lead in the center and double the rhythm guitars and have them panned.

It actually starts centered and then when the lead goes to the solo part the rhythm pans right and a duplicate track fades in on the left. I would have properly doubled the rhythm (I just used the "duplicate track" method), but it was late and I figured my suite mates were probably sick of me playing the same shit over and over. And I started centered then went to panned later because it just sounded a bit overbearing with the rhythm doubled and panned at the beginning. But yeah, I'm definitely gonna do a proper double and see how it sounds then. Plus it'll all get moved around if I add bass and drums anyway. Though I don't know anything about mixing yet.

On one of the nights of Islam called the Night of Nights, the secret doors of heaven open wide and the water in the jars becomes sweeter; if those doors opened, I would not feel what I felt that afternoon.

Cool, sounds pretty good. My only comment is that it has a bit too much in the high frequency range for my taste (especially the drums), but my ears are kinda bitchy sometimes.

This is the penultimate release to The Waistband's catalog... these jams are the last things that we are going to do together for a while.

I think the number one thing I would have changed in the duration of the project was to go back to the way that Morning Coffee was recorded, not as a band but a way to pass time. I think that's where The Waistband's sound was at it's best.
