Most hall reverb I hear sounds like it's recorded in a concert hallway, that's kind of why I hate it.

Yeah, true.

So, on the advice of some of the UG forums regulars, I increased the attack on the compression. I think it sounds a bit tighter now, more realistic, I guess. It also doesn't have as many sound peaks.
