RE: The broken backspace thread! - Danjo - 02-16-2014 Same here, haha. I think that game is somehow targeted at middle schoolers. RE: The broken backspace thread! - Mr Maps - 02-16-2014 I suck at typing because my ifngers are so calloused and sooty from working my job as a cockney chimeny-sweep. The work does a right to-do on my old hand-wagglers, so to speak. RE: The broken backspace thread! - ln cognition - 02-16-2014 Is that brit-speak for you being a prostitute? Or 2hand-substitute", at least. RE: The broken backspace thread! - Fantasyfanman - 02-17-2014 Oh you British folk and your silly slang. Seriously though, Britain is awesome. I would love to visit there. one day. Whoops, two peiod in one sentence. RE: The broken backspace thread! - JCizzle - 02-17-2014 My country of choice (to visit) would be Japan. Chna, Tibet specifically, also looks really nice. RE: The broken backspace thread! - Danjo - 02-17-2014 I want to go to Englad, mostly just because I like a lot of British shows and things, and the accents are cool. I also want to go to zgermany because those are my people. (And hopefully by the time I get to go I'll be fluent in german, or at least semi-fluent.) O I'm not sure how I feel about the asian countries. THey kinda scare me because I know the culture w must be really different. Also I don't know how much of a language barrier there would be. Fuck I made a lot of typos, though half of those were because I started typeing a word an then decided I wanted to say something else. RE: The broken backspace thread! - JCizzle - 02-17-2014 Yeah, the language is definitely a difficulty to overcome. And no matter which country I wisit, I'm pretty scertain that there will be a certain degree of culture shock. I dunno, I don't plan on visitng Japan soon (not that I have the means), so maybe by the time I do I'll have a friend flluent in Japanese who would want to tag along hrug: RE: The broken backspace thread! - Grungie - 02-17-2014 Shrines are pretty cool to visit in Japan. i visited Mount Osore which is a volcanic mountain with tons of hot springs here and there. According to Japanese mythology, it's the entrance to hell, so there's a blood pond that turns red (well it was sorta red in one spot whne I saw it), and the lake connects to the mythological Sanzu river that people ride to the afterlife (basically like Styx). There's a ton of effigies up there to honor dead children. Despite being a sacred area for Japanese mythology, the temple at the top is actually a buddhist temple because it's called a bodai-ji, which is a buddhist temple for revering the dead. RE: The broken backspace thread! - JCizzle - 02-17-2014 That's pretty badass. RE: The broken backspace thread! - Grungie - 02-17-2014 It's not an overly popular tourist attraction for foreigners as it's really far north on the main island, and is pretty far away from the places people normally want to visit like Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto. |
