what do you use?
also *warns*
I use Acid Pro, but Acid Music Studio is more or less the same thing, but simplified and costs about a third as much.

I think it's just that Reaper is so cheap. (It's freeware, as you know.) And it does work well for rock/metal, if you like the workflow. hrug: (09-11-2013, 05:34 PM)Grungie Wrote: I use Acid Pro, but Acid Music Studio is more or less the same thing, but simplified and costs about a third as much. How much is Acid Pro? Would you say it's good for rock/metal? (09-11-2013, 06:17 PM)crazysam23 Wrote: How much is Acid Pro? Would you say it's good for rock/metal? Well you can judge whether it's good or not from my recordings (mind you I'm not as good at mixing and recording as others, but better than nothing) but I do use non-default plugins for Acid as well but Acid Pro is about $150, but Acid Music is about $60. Both have free trials on their respective websites.
