I don't ever actually plan to buy a guitar until next year at least, unless circumstamces change. And when I do it will probably be a kit with the Les Paul Special II P90, an amp, a case, ad some other stuff that Grungie pointed me to. It is only $200 which seems like a good enough deal to me.

I want to get good at acoustic before I think about buying an electric. I was just window shopping as they say.

I've been saying I'll get a new guitar next year for the last, like, three years. But honestly upgrading my other equipment first was worth it

Ahhh riiiiight. Yeah, fort $200, that's not so bad. Be warned, once your ear develops, you'll outgrow the amp pretty fast, but it is a good starting place.

I've been saying I want to get a good rig for aaaages too, I just haven't had the time/motivation/funds. Hopefully I can get it sorted over summer this time

Dream guitar is obviously a Les Paul or the Brian May signature guitar. Both sexy. For acoustic its a an expensive Taylor.
