So, I always thought it'd be kinda cool to be a Buddhist monk, as I could see myself fitting the faith and being a monk would be a nice way of life. Until I learnt this rule they have to stick to:

No dancing, singing or music.

Stupid Buddhists ruining the fun. Sad
Really? Doesn't sound very Buddhisty at all.

That's what I thought, but 'tis true.

Also, this guy:

This video, man. Increased my respect for him so much.
Cool guy Smile Has some solid points.

Also regarding that Buddhist claim, aren't there some Buddhist performers and actors and whatnot? I know a fictional example is Lisa Simpson who plays the sax.
I really agree with that video because i despise all the categorization of people there are today

I'm not a category, i'm human. Stop taking away the humanity in people.

This is why i also despise overly politically correct people and bureaucrats.
Overly politically correct people just take away the humanity in things by taking away everything that can offend people, which is fake and inhuman. Nobody is really like that, stop lying to yourself.
Bureaucrats just don't see people, they see files.

Hey mon, why you hatin'?

But seriously, what do you mean by overly politically correct people? I don't quite understand.

and being moralistic as I am I feel guilty now

And if you don't know what i mean by overly politically correct ask Grungie, he explained it a few times before way better than i could and he likes to rant about it

I searched the forum and I only found a few things but it seems to me that overly political correctness seems like accepting things that are just really odd and uncommon while debasing "normal" things.
Yeah, that's what I had found. Still not 100% sure I understand but I've got an idea.

I dunno, I'm very moralistic and try to do what is good so if I become overly politically correct feel free to tell me Confusedhrug: I feel like if there's no need to be offensive, don't be, because the more sensitive people will be more inclined to listen to your opinions and whatnot. Sometimes it may be required but I'd find that to be in rare circumstances.
