Why this topic? Because I'm bored. That's why.

Mine's lamb. It just tastes so GOOD. Unfortunately, I can't afford it very often, as it's like $15 for a lamb chop.



If you want, discuss the ethics of slaughterhouses or vegetarianism or whatever too. I tend to prefer grass-fed, free-range steers as far as beef goes. We buy it right from the farmer, and they send it to a local butcher for cutting and dressing. We find that we tend to get better quality beef this way than buying it from the store.
So, there's my slice of meat ethics.

I love how I briefly mentioned meat-eating ethics in my recent post in the venting thread, and this thread comes up :haha:

But yeah, one of the best meat-based things I've eaten is a recipe my neighbor and I conceived in college.

- Burger buns
- Ground lean pork (which is dirt-cheap)
- Egg mixed in to make patties more like meatloaf
- Brie
- Tomatoes OR caramelized onions
Chicken > Turkey > Beef > Salmon > Pork > Lamb
