At least people are commenting back to you. I just feel that they should put effort into their work instead of wondering why people aren't posting

I agree. At least here people are willing to respond and start new topics if there isn't much going on. I know this is a tired issue, but if more of us had lives and more people to recruit this site could be doing very well.

Well, I'm sort of hoping, if I do the whole "band feature" thing and contact a few bands (usually bands I find on bandcamp) via their facebook -- asking for band history and permission to use a band pic -- that we'll get some people that way. For instance, if they say post something on their facebook page like, "We were featured on MTB", then maybe people will check us out. I figure our greatest opportunity to recruit would be to start reaching out by literally talking about music. (lel)

Btw, if anyone else wants to do that with me; I'll mainly be doing Metalcore/Deathcore/Prog Metal/etc. type of bands. So, if there's someone who's keen on doing, for example, the same type of thing for Post-Rock or Alternative...'cause this isn't gonna be as great if it's just me, lol.

Yeah. Even if it wasn't weird for me they wouldn't fit in at all, musically or otherwise.

It'd be better if it was someone I know online but the only people I know just from the internet anymore are pretty much UG people.

I'm also a nerd. I don't know when I fully realized this, but I feel like I always was. Only a few people (like the ones mentioned above) know that though I think. I probably look like more of a hooligan than a nerdy kid.
