Anyway, I've been loving modern art. I don't know if art from this era has a different name from what you see sometimes where it's just some pretentious dude making stuff up out of garbage for pretentious people to masturbate to for no reason but I've been having an appreciation for visual art lately.
Like this site is cool, although it's not all art.

i actually like some recent art. i really like old dada stuff and some cubist and modern shit
also even though they're a design firm, designer's republic makes some neat shit

That's not one of the rules. One of the people who I was debating with PMed the moderator saying he was uncomfortable discussing the topic and that it had gone on for too long, so the moderator said any more posts on the topic will be deleted. I find that amusing even though I shouldn't.
Ok, glad that's not a rule. It's kind of stupid that the mod caved instead of being like, "Why can't you back out gracefully?"
I think I'm finally "getting" the Death Grips =0
edit: kinda
kinda?
the money store is one of the best rap albums i've ever heard
I'm slowly getting turned onto it now after trying like 5 times before and always hating it. I think what finally did it was seeing a live video and then an interview and I realized they're actually pretty intelligent dudes so the music must too in some way.
I had to stop though because I was getting a headache. :p
But yeah I can see loving it in the next few days

i actually considered seeing them when they came through here

so basically cause they're stuck in the stone age of paintings

Please, it says so much.
The Black Square against white background is the symbol, the basic element in the system of the art of suprematism, the step into the new art.

1)pitchfork is semi-agreeable
2)i'm not gonna search to find another site running the article
Yeah idk what to think of the whole "suicide note and not showing up to their shows thing". If they aren't getting refunded or playing another show it's a pretty shitty thing to do regardless of how "punk" it might be or whatever. I don't know what they were going for with that. Maybe just some buzz.
I kinda hate pitchfork and am now a bit obsessed with theneedledrop.
