I wish I didn't have the urge to read and correct youtube comments. On a Silversun Pickups video the top comment was talking about how he's glad it isn't 'mainstream' because the public sheep would ruin it and they can't comprehend the goodness or something, except more pretentious and idiotic. I just said something like "that's fucking stupid" and he kept messaging me that I was a sheep.
There's a ton of morons on youtube.
My favorite was on a stringed quartet cover of Lateralus and someone said "see, Tool has less covers than Metallica, so that means that Tool's music is too complex and technical to cover than Metallica"
edit: ^oh god.

Man, what is it about Youtube comments that make people act even more like cunts on the internet than normal?
yeah i don't know. all dem niggas so angry
but for the record i didn't even say anything all that bad; all i said is that it didn't really fit the song.
I find that certain bands tend to get common top comments. For instance
Smashing Pumpkins/Sonic Youth/Any 90s band - "90s was great, current music sucks"
Post rock bands - "Pretentious babble"
Modest Mouse - Good MM/Old MM debate
Beastie Boys - "RIP MCA" (Replace "MCA" with "Dimebag" and you've got Pantera comments)
Bon Iver - Even more pretentious than Post rock comments or Pronunciation of Bon Iver
Pixies - "Look how hot Kim Deal is" (This may also apply to Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth)
Sometimes the super defensive fanboys who say anything the band is the definition of perfection and are never wrong are just as bad as the super haters.
lel Due's back to fill the pit with excessive white knighting.
that first post he had in that hooters thread? i was able to abstain from facepalming luckily; that bruise wouldn't have looked good in the workplace.
Meh, I barely ever visit the Pit outside of a few pages. Her's so much better, just slower-moving.
Also, ghost page.
It won't take long until Due goes into a thread and makes a fool of himself and then Blake comes in to defend him. This happens so many times to where I think those are planned.
What's your pit name, Mr Maps?
