Waking the Fallen is only good when I for some reason feel nostalgic for middle school (although I guess there are a few genuinely decent bits for what it is). City of Evil tries a bit too hard at times but overall its good, I enjoy a few of the songs. The self-titled album is their best, I still listen to that all the way through on rare occasions. 'A Little Piece of Heaven' is easily their best song. Nightmare is really generic for the most part. 'Friction', 'Danger Line', and parts of 'Save Me' are good but nothing too great. The CoD singles are just awful or at least boring to me.
I might write an Avenged Sevenfold review now since I procrastinated that last week. I've gotten so bad about that lately. It's midnight and I've barely accomplished anything. Whenever I go to do something productive I find something else to do (like taking 'breaks' to walk my dog, play piano, and then sit on the internet for hours with music lol')
Edit: I just remembered how my awful band (I've mentioned this on UG, sorry Debbie, but now I'm bringing it here so this isn't an issue) covered 'Seized the Day'. They for some reason think that is one of the greatest songs ever written.
I wrote a review for Waking the Fallen on iTunes like 5 years ago
I think I'm gonna go try to find it and lol at it
I actually like Seize the Day. And a couple other A7X songs. Haven't really listened to their new album much, but what I've heard didn't make much of an impression. That being said the only music I've really listened to frequently over the past year or so has been Chili Peppers or John Frusciante's solo stuff. And for the past couple days that Here Come The Mummies group. Other than that I hardly listen to music, which is kinda weird.
Well we are sorta actually discussing music in here for like the first time ever. But yeah, get better soon Fullmoon.
You niggas need to step up your game. Don't let Fullmoon one up you.
