I know, 1948. But didn't Britain receive Palestine after the fall of the Ottoman Empire, which eventually led to the British Partition of Palestine after WWII?
If I am wrong this is the stupidest thing I have said in three years.
lol, I meant I meant partition instead of mandate (for after WWII). I still found some things I'm wrong (or uninformed) about though.
I've made a point to properly educate myself in history, economics, and politics this summer so within the next year I will hopefully be much smarter.
I'll have my history degree in a few weeks.
Congratulations.
I did know the Mandate was before WWII just so that's clear.
Basically anybody should know that, so even if I am not near as educated as you that would be something to cringe over.
I realize this is going way back, but Adam, talking about quitting cigarettes, I've actually heard that nicotine is the most addictive drug of all the drugs used recreationally to date. So there is actually a reason its difficult to quit. The only reason its not worse is because cigarettes have nicotine in super tiny doses.
I also like how all the user names are red or green now. Its like christmas.
I like having my name red because I'm a communist.

You totally got that from my profile :p
Also don't you smoke pot?
I know this is a late reply, and i did not see that on your profile.
But atleast with pot i have reasons to keep doing it
-It helps me eat, i lost a lot of weight the last few months and pot has helped me a lot with gaining it back
-Helps me with depression, believe it or not. I have chronic depression and i'm able to deal with it on my own but sometimes i just feel like shit and smoking pot helps me a lot.
-Not saying pot isn't addictive, it's mentally addictive, but i have enough self control to stop when i want.
Those are my main reasons. And if it weren't for any of those i probly wouldn't keep doing it. Caught smoking pot here and you can say goodbye to any good jobs in the future
Also, i think in a couple weeks we'd all have red usernames lol.
Pot shmot. Crack's where it's at.
Anyway, I would like to apologise for my lack of posting these last few days. SOcial life got in the way and all that jazz.

Sounds reasonable. I'd suggest being careful with self-medicating though, because my friend F used to get stoned to help himself with his anxiety/depression and it only made his anxiety worse to the point he had a panic attack and was sent to the hospital, being unable to finish last semester.

I think that applies for most countries and states. Though don't employers ask for a urine test before considering you for a job?

I once remember seeing a graph that showed the addictiveness of various drugs and alcohol and cigarettes were higher than heroin on the graph.
