The funny thing is, most of them are either loaded with alcohol and sweeteners or they're like 1% alcohol and 99% juice.

We don't usually buy alcohol aside from wine, but when we buy stronger liquors it can cost a lot, yeah. I think it was like, 25$ for a Bailey's bottle this past Christmas (I didn't pay for it, my mom did). Add some Frangelico and it can easily go up to 50 or 60 dollars. Alcohol is very expensive here, but I don't know how that compares to the rest of the world.
There's also this skull-shaped flask with vodka in it that costs 150$. My mind is boggled when I think, 'hey, some people buy this'.

I went to the pool bar with the guys about a year ago and got a rum and Coke that cost me 6 dollars. For Coke, rum, lime and ice.
But yeah, you would be right, hyperbolically speaking.
I wouldn't even be surprised if that were true. Bars want to skimp in every way.
Thing is, there's a chance I had a discount because we all knew the girl that served us from high school :p
Actually, come to think of it, I've seen her quite a bit since HS ended. I even went to the same college as her the first time I got in (now I'm at a different school and in an actual program instead of just doing my core classes).
inb4 Adam makes a remark about me getting with her or something

Idk, if i go to a bar i'll usually just drink beer
And yes i go to bars sometimes. My ID has a pic of me with a beard so they usually just see the pic without looking at the birth date and let me in.
Dude bars don't really give a shit if you just try haha.
Like I got into this club once on my friend's ID. We look NOTHING alike, and he's a year younger than me and super thin. The bouncer looked at it and was like "1989?" and I smile and nod, he laughs and lets me in.
To me, bouncers don't really care as long as you're there to give them some money :p
Nah here they give a shit, but not that much to actually look at the birth date
They usually look at the picture and look at you, if it's the same person and you look old enough they let you in.
Bars are boring though, it's much fun to get drunk at a house or a park or something
Yeah, tipping them is cool. The best thing to do is to introduce yourself as they let you in, tip them and buy the dude a bottle of water. It's a nice gesture and if they see you at the club again they'll remember you for it.
