That's not cool at all...
Yeah, what saddens me is that the amount of wounded keep going up as the time.
Is anyone else really bothered by how much the media benefits from this stuff? I don't think anything could or even should be done about it, I just can't stand the thought of all the company heads that surely jump with joy at the news of these types of tragedies.
>Dat feel when you wake up and find out there was a bombing in the U.S.
Well i guess i'm gonna be hearing of this for the next few weeks as people try to blame everyone they can think of.
I told em not to mess with my hummus
I feel as if it's a tad bit too soon to joke of this, it may be just me though >_>

I agree but don't at the same time. Surely they have to report on this stuff, right?
Yeah, I know. It can't really be changed, it's pretty much what they're here for. It just gets to me.

I think I know what you mean though. I think the actual reporting is always a good thing. We as people need to know what is happening. We can't just hide from things like this.
What I don't like is the endless interviews with those affected. A few is fine. Sometimes it's even needed if no one in the news industry was there. We need and want to know what actually happened during whatever incident occurred. But interviews with all the people that jsut went through whatever it was is just too much sometimes.
I will say though that today seemed to be a little better since so many reporters and others in the industry were on sight so they relied on them more than the actual bystanders.
It was nothing like after Sandy Hook and they were talking to freaking children whose school was just shot up. That's disgusting.
I've been thinking about this a lot because I recently got out of a journalism major at school. One of the things I hated most about it was that they were always looking for an angle or really good story (like interviews with survivors) instead of just reporting on the facts of what happened. It just makes me feel sick that they try to exploit these people who went through horrible things for more viewers or readers.
Idk, this is kind of a rant but you probably get it.
