Its a really weird tuning, but it matches almost everything he does in the videos.
Except for the pinky.
But regardless, the notes are definitely right and I'm going to try and not care that that's not how they play it because I always do even though everyone tells me not to so deal with it.
Huzzah
Though I'm not too anal over whether or not that's how they actually play it. If it sounds the same then that's all I care about.
Great. Then the tuning will be, from low to high: E A Db Gb A E.
I'll start now.
Lol, that's almost as bad as Sonic Youth tunings.
Yeah, I looked up the tunings they used just to be sure they use alternate tunings and I wasn't going crazy. :haha:
Someone almost had the same tuning for the song that I did, but was off by one string.
I think the tunings I always find the weirdest is when they have several strings tuned to the same note, or the same not but different pitches.
You mean like that one Fuel song that had been driving me crazy for like a month and the tuning turned out to be C# F# C# F# C# F# ?
Standard tuning is best tuning.

I have 3 electrics and my tunings are: standard, eb standard, and drop D. Though I do play around in open G and open D5 which is just open G, but with the high E string tuned to E
I use that sometimes. Also some interesting ones is drop B and drop Bb where it's like drop D but you tune the E string to B and keep the rest in standard.
