So, apparently, David Brockie (GWAR vocalist) died. Am I the only one who just doesn't care? I mean, I'm not trying to be callous. It's just that I always found his jokes to be terrible (on par with potty humor, to me) and never liked GWAR's music. So...it's basically impossible for me to feel more remorse than, "Well, sucks that a guy died".
It's interesting that everyone crawls out of the woodworks to say "RIP" and "My day is ruined" and "There will NEVER be anyone like him" when a rock celebrity dies.
Never listened to them or heard anything he said to be honest. Was kinda surprised to see all of the people who even knew who he was.
Still died at a pretty young age though, which is sad.
Well, that's sad, yeah. But beyond that initial "he died young" and "sucks that he died"...I feel nothing. It just wouldn't even cross my radar, so to speak, if a lot of the sites I visit weren't talking about him.
hrug:
I thought he was pretty funny I guess
Nahh I never really liked GWAR even when I did listen to them, which happened maybe once.
^ Yeah that.

:haha: That too, I guess.
I don't know why I just now saw that...

Tbh I didn't know people still listened to GWAR, I only know about them because of Beavis and Butthead, and thought that was the last time they were relevant.
Well, only reason I knew of them is because UG sometimes had stories that were basically, "David Brockie said this ridiculous/funny thing! Do you agree?".
Yeah, I'm surprised its been such big news. I mean, "Oh, that sucks that he died" is really all I think when any celebrity dies unless its someone I was a huge fan of. And no one I'm a huge fan of has died after I became a fan, so I don't know how I'd feel.
I only get disappointed if I'm a huge fan, but never "zomg such tragedy"
