Actually, that's what I've been trying to do. However, that's impossible to do when iTunes refuses to recognize that there's even an iPod plugged in. Of course, Windows is recognizing the iPod as a removable disc, which means I might be able to re-format the iPod. Problem is, any actions I request regarding the iPod ARE GOING SO FUCKING SLOW! :x
Did you try those button combinations on the iPod that reset it? After you do the reset, then restart your computer and plug in your iPod.

I did. But I'll try that again.

This sounds nice.
EDIT: THE FOLLOWING IS ONE EXCESSIVE RAMBLE OF A TIRED, ADDLED MIND
I've tried a lot of sleep aids with varying success rates. I've also abused a variety of things in the past, so it often takes more than melatonin to put me down (but I'll say it is good for adjusting sleep cycles in the longer term). I used to get prescribed Ambien, which I often would go over that threshold of sleep aid to crazy weird trip. Then I'd end up doing something like watching The Golden Compass (never seen that movie sober, still love it every time I watch it), movie furniture around, stare at my ceiling fan, or write short stories/poetry.
Then I tried antihistamines. It worked at first, then it didn't. So I (being the manic weirdo I can be) decided to take a higher than recommended dosage. This resulted in two things, at a slightly excessive dosage I got really bad restless leg syndrome. Basically you feel like your bones are trying to jump out of your body, ultimate restlessness. At slightly further dosage (or maybe much further, and possibly in conjunction with something else, I don't quite remember all of my poor decisions in full detail) I straight up tripped more than anything I've ever done (except maybe salvia). Forgot I was even on a drug, thought I was at work for a period of time and walked around my room talking to myself. I ended up getting in bed and somehow rolling out fast enough to fly ~3 feet through the air and put a dent in the drywall with my head.
I can refill my klonopin prescription tomorrow, which is the safest and gentlest thing that I actually notice to be effective, so I should be set. But wednesday and thursday are the only days when sleeping before are really crucial for me. This is what working 5-midnight does to you. I'd love to be productive every day before or after work, but I just can't seem to convince my body/brain to pull that off.
Ugh, writing this post just made me realize it's not even scratching the surface of all the not-so-bright things I've done with a wide array of drugs in the past. Le sigh, it kind of makes me feel good to be past practically all of that now though. I've been mostly sober for almost a month. Still not on the "I'm never drinking again" train, but enjoying the time to clear my head and save money. Not alternating between drunk or hung over for months at a time is always good.
Ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble. I should be sleeping. Holy shit, I just looked at how long this post is...I don't even know why I went off on all of this.
Oh yeah school started again
Since my work schedule has been basically the same since summer started i guess i forgot :/
Hope ya'll are doing ok with that, sleeping has always been a problem for me whenever school started...
