You guys know about our review blog. I'm thinking about what else we need to put on there besides reviews to increase traffic and possibly to increase users.
Should we have a feature like artist of the week and you guys can contribute and showcase a lesser known artists? (we'll have a subforum for discussing this, so you can post your thing on the artist of the week and we'll premier it on the blog)

Just any, I doubt any of us are that up to date on new upcoming artists.

How would that work? Would it just be, "Here's a brief history of these guys, here's a Youtube link, and here's an album rec"?

Well, I didn't mean their whole history. But kind of the short and important details section, "(This band) plays (insert genre) and have been around since (insert year)". Obviously, a little more professional-looking while still feeling casual, but yeah.
Anyway...I'd be up for that. I'm not sure how often I'd submit things, but I'd do a few, I'm sure.
We're gonna have a subforum for submitting that stuff
