oh yea, this is beyond annoying too
I don't do comics, so superhero stuff like that has never bothered me, but I will admit to being that way about books. I've gotten better over the years though, just because its always going to be that way. It does bother me when they change things for seemingly no reason though. I understand if its a time constraint, or a scene would be difficult to do or something, but little things that would have been easy to match up get under my skin. Like the fact that in the 7th Harry Potter movie Snape gets killed down at the docks, but it was supposed to be at the Shrieking Shack. Its just beyond me why they would decided to change that.

We've already discussed the Hobbit movies, and I like them well enough, but there have been some parts that are a little dumb even without taking the changes from the book into consideration. Like pouring molten gold all over Smaug. Why would that kill him?

So, they're making a power rangers reboot. Cheese-tastic!
For that to be a success, they have to do a damn good job with it. As they have to do something to appeal to our generation, as Power Rangers was a big thing in our childhood.

I personally see it flopping. But maybe they'll surprise me.
I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if it flopped. Though I'm hoping they pull a Lego Movie, as everyone expected it to flop, but it was actually well done.

So they should probably take lessons from the Lego Movie and 21 Jump Street and not pull a Dragonball Evolution. So we can only hope that it's done by someone that cares, rather than just make a shitty reboot just for the sake of it.
People expected the Lego movie to flop? I assumed it would be great because of how good all the Lego video games are. (Not they directly correlate, but Lego just seems to know how to make good stuff.)
Well yeah, cuz when the trailers were released, everyone was expecting it to suck like most of those type of movies, and the trailers didn't really do much justice.

Well, Lego made a kid's movie. But most of the people who saw the trailer were like, "It looks stupid". (Because it kind of did, and the trailer gave no indication of the plot other than the hero gets to join Batman or whatever.) But then a few people went, and word of mouth did the rest.

In general, Lego knows what they're doing and hires people who will cause the end result to be a moneymaker.
Yeah, it also seemed like a clusterfuck movie on the trailers.

Though before we go further in the Lego Movie, I haven't seen it, so my personal opinion over it is nonexistent, so I'm only going by its praise.
