Nope it's an illusion. Look at those eyes. He was totally crazy then too
That's why normal was in quotes. I was just saying, drugs sure road-tracked Ozzy's face.
Sam, that quote wasn't even in this thread. Have you been drinking again?

I thought Scott Pilgrim was okay, but I honestly didn't like it that much. I guess I don't see the appeal in a main character who is basically not good at anything.

I've liked all the X-men movies really. Well I didn't see Origins, but otherwise. I'm pretty laid back about my opinions on movies though, it has to be particularly bad for me to dislike it. For example, did any of you guys see that little Red Riding Hood, remake back in like 2010? (I went with a girl and had forgotten how dumb the idea sounded from the trailer). Worst movie I have ever seen.
Wow...my bad. :haha:

I don't even know how that quote ended up here.

I tend to also not dislike movies unless they're really bad. I actually tend to view a lot of movies, like the X-men, as being separate from the comic books or whatever. I don't really see the point of things like, "Well...Wolverine had a blue and yellow uniform in the comics". Yeah...but the movies aren't the comics; they're just based on the comics.
On a different note, I found Origins to be pretty good. I would recommend it, if you intend to see the new X-men film in May.

I think I saw the trailer and went, "Hell nah!". lol

Yeah, I think a lot of people struggle with that. Not being just like the book/comic =\= bad movie. You always see that in film adaptations of those things and not view it as its own separate entity.

Well, I had to catch myself when the new Hobbit films first came out. Because I love the book, my initial reaction was to keep going, "That wasn't in the book!" But the movie was good, so whatever. I'm looking forward to the 3rd film. lol
Yeah, I did that a couple times before as well. Also I caught myself when I saw the anime of a manga I read and I think "wait, why didn't they add this scene?". Then there's the awesome cases where they expanded on a scene or explained things better.

Also it's kind of fun going through any story telling medium a second time to pick up on foreshadowing you missed the first time around.
I feel like a lot of people are doing that with Game of Thrones right now. I'm reading the books and watching the show but view them as different. Some people get so mad about changes made to the source material. It's just got to happen. Some things just don't transfer from one medium to another.
Well some people don't see the point unless you transfer every. fucking. thing. perfectly. I'm sure if they did, people would still bitch, because it's not their image of it. "Oh no, when I imagined this scene, the camera angles aren't right!!!!"

I feel those kind of people are idiots.
It's people like that where I'm sympathetic towards the creator hating their fans.
