Films, huh?

Not exactly film-related (it's a song from a movie), but I'm starting to get tired of that one "Let It Go" song from Frozen being played every-damn-where.

Difference is, the idiot writers went, "This Greek legend isn't action-packed enough. Scrap 75% of the legend and write in action-based parts". End result? The pile of shit that is Immortals.

Anyway, I concur with wwf.

Immortals was just like "Theres this king guy who wants to kill the gods, because he doesn't believe in the gods, so he's gonna attack random coastal villages and have sex with women so his offspring can live forever, because he released the titans who will kill the gods who he doesn't believe in who are completely irrelevant to the duration of his offspring."
Immortals wasn't even cool to look at really

Exactly. Sacrificed any real storyline to speak of, because they wanted lots of combat involving the hero of the film.
I guess the fight scenes were cool, but yeah, they really pushed it past the point where it was reasonable at all.

Well, that's what I mean. If the only cool feature of the movie was the fight scenes, then it's fucking lame as hell.
Just watched Moonrise Kingdom, it was great. It was pretty funny, nice and uplifting and the cinematography was fun - overall I really liked it .

One thing though, the twelve year old boy protagonist looks a lot like a sixteen year old girl I know. It's kinda weird.
Just finished 47 Ronin, while it wasn't really that great of a movie, it was mediocre at best.

I love love love Moonrise Kingdom. One of my favs. Just something about it make it perfect to me. I thought I would hate it because I heard it tries to be quirky and everything, but it just works.

Haven't seen it but that's all I've heard about the movie to be honest. :p

You should watch The Raid: Redemptions

Badass movie.
The trailers for the new X-men movie seem pretty cool. I'm interested in it, but I'm not sure how much of an effort I'll make to actually watch it.
