Watching The Arrival of Wang on Film 4 (UK TV channel). About an Italian woman who works as a Chinese film translator getting asked to translate for Mr Wang who is under interrogation by the government. Mysterious. In Italian/Chinese.
Well that ended up being typical in the end. Was thinking it wasn't going in the direction I'd expect of an Italian film, but then it went ahead and became the same as everything on the subject matter you'd get out of Hollywood or probably out of Italy too.
Basically it's about interrogation methods being used on an alien.
Might watch Swades now maybe that'll be decent.

That depends. Is it bad that it's probably going to mindless violence with the basics of story? If you think so, you'll think it's bad. If you think not, you'll think it's good.
The first movie was ridiculous in many ways. But the sheer awesomeness of the combat scenes was great.
The CG was a little weird. As long as its better plotwise than Immortals I'll be okay though. That movie made no sense.
I kind of loved 300 so I'm stoked for some more gnarly mind-numbing violence

To be fair, the Greek legend that Immortals was VERY loosely based on didn't make a ton of sense either. Difference is, the idiot writers went, "This Greek legend isn't action-packed enough. Scrap 75% of the legend and write in action-based parts". End result? The pile of shit that is Immortals.
