Imagine if we were homoless - where would we be without our orgies?
:lurk:
:hahA:

But yeah, chances are I rad it on Cracked. Can't be certain, though.

This place says 44% of homeless people have jobs. Joel is vindicated! (Mostly, still not a majority.)
Hell yeah 8)

I'd put an emoticon with only one half of his sunglasses but we don't have one.
You learn something new every day I guess.

Huh, ok. Fair enough.
I would guess in that case that they got the job before they became homeless, but I could be wrong.
Hey guys, seemingly stupid question: How much is it acceptable for your parents to pay for your education?

I already know my answer to the question, I am just interested in other perspectives to see how out of touch I am :p:

Closest thing to the most relevant thread I could find.
My parents haven't paid for any of mine but if one's parents are willing to give their kid a full ride through college honestly I don't have a problem with that.
I don't have a problem with it either, when it comes to other people.

The reason why I bring this up is because as I mentioned before, I have decided to attend community college even though my parents can afford to send me to the expensive university. I could do nothing to help and just leech off all of this luxury if I wanted to, though I am choosing not to, for a variety of reasons I mentioned far back. Problem is, by this point it might be too late for me to just cancel all of my involvement at the university because I'm already so far into the registration process. My mom also thinks I'm a fucking idiot (surprisingly, most people agree with me) and really wants me to go to the university. I can find no moral or economic justification for doing this, but I went with the idea and after various statistics and budgeting, determined that about $5,500 is a justified amount of financial aid I could recieve from my parents. Even then, I wouldn't have enough money for all of the costs (their help and my income combined) and I wouldn't be able to pay for all of the other expensive stuff I want (for example, I'm wanting to spend $1,000+ on fixing my awful forehead. I'd give up education for a beautiful face >_>).
