Actually I can't read stuff that's deleted.
Oh.

Well it was a shorter version of what I just posted except with a much angrier description of why I'm a terrible person. >_> Nobody wants to read that.
Well I did read your new post after I commented on deleting stuff.

I did mention that was how your posts kind of read off as you were running away from high school stuff, I'm sure that's not what your real intentions were, but that's just how your posts as they didn't really detail much outside of that. So it's nice hearing some clarity over that.

Also with your regards to Sam talking about clothes and cars, he was just talking about stuff that people were really picky over with in high school, and how nobody cares about that anymore.
@Sam: I was not aware natural tobacco wasn't that toxic. Interesting.

@Cockatoo: I still applaud your efforts too redeem yourself, and the fact that you recognize your faults is already quite mature, honestly. I'm three years older than you and I also have not the slightest clue what I want. I seem to want so many different things at once, even things that contradict themselves.

(by the way, I've heard that Chavland can also be pretty bad with regards to bigotry, so I'm not sure it would be much of a change from the States)

Well, you're still breathing in smoke. But tobacco itself is literally smoking a non-toxic plant. If you overdo it, the heat of the smoke and the ash could harm your lungs. But the tobacco isn't harmful in and of itself.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicotiana_tabacum -- Scroll down to the section on Phytochemicals. I don't believe any of those are particularly harmful to humans. Of course, nicotine is addictive, but -- without all the added chemicals -- it's not a dangerous addiction. It's sort of like being addicted to a hyper-active form of caffeine. In other words, nicotine in pure tobacco won't harm you if you use it moderately. Good cigars tend to be made without added chemicals.
Fascinating. Wasn't tobacco used as a pesticide before though?
Nobody cares and I said I'd stop ranting about high school but today was just pathetic. I'm cool with it if you all just want to ignore this post but I have a strong urge to vent. One day I'll delete all of these.

The racism at my school took off to stupid levels this week, culminating today. It's nothing bad, like a 'race war' at a school with gang issues, this falls more into the 'just pathetic' category. I will describe the events in list format since that seems to be the most effective way of summing this all up. Keep in mind that I was not directly involved and am just summarising what I heard from several different people.

-White football player harasses black football players for being black.
-One of the students reports the racism, nothing happens.
-In protest, four black team members leave the team, one switches to another school ('we won't miss you' has been a somewhat popular motto today).
-A text sent from the white student to the black student reveals insults and racial slurs directed towards the black football players.
-The principal sees the text and is outraged. He decides to have an anti-racism assembly (which ended up being him talking for five minutes).
-Word gets out before the assembly day, and everyone is angry that we are having an assembly because 'there is no racism at this school' (the same kids who are the most obviously racist are the most vocal proponents of this view).
-A few kids even organise a 'whiteout' in response; they wear white clothing to support 'white rights'.
-The assembly happens, everyone bursts out laughing when the principal tells us to stop saying 'fag'. Everyone is on their phones and mocking him. Granted the way he separated 'bitch' into 'b itch' was silly.
-He admits that our school has a reputation for being racist; everyone is offended. Props to him. I privately had a discussion on a similar subject with him and before he was in denial too (that may have been because he was talking to me though).
-Every conversation today has been something like 'how come they can say the n word and I can't?', 'I don't see racism so that must mean there isn't any', 'it's okay because we're just joking', etc. The most offensive was some kid said he wanted to stab the teacher who runs the black student union, which has been a popular target ever since it was founded at the beginning of the year.
-Most people seem to side with the white student, kids continue to use racial and homophobic slurs, and after all of this everybody is still insisting that there is no racism at this school. Most people (almost exclusively white kids) are throwing a fit because they were told to stop being racist.

He also announced a no tolerance policy, and to make a point they suspended a white kid who jokingly called another white kid a cracker olol.

This is pretty normal I suppose but actually hearing what people were saying today was infuriating.

Quick, someone tell me what debbie likes so I can get her a birthday present. >_>
let's nuke your school.

Also who harasses black people that play football? Normally they're MVP compared to whites.
lol, that is fucked up.

And honestly pretty weird about the football players. Usually those guys stick together. Someone must be mad they're not a first stringer.
Honestly, I kind of enjoy your vents Confusedhrug: At least they're justified.
