The legendary and highly influential Post-Hardcore band famous for their shows that are more chaotic than their music. Lead by Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, more famous for their other project, The Mars Volta, At the Drive-in is what put them on the music industry map.

They currently have 3 albums and a bunch of EP's. My favorite part is that all 3 of their albums sound different from each other. My personal favorite is In/Casino/Out, but the other 2 are fantastic.

Their live shows are famous for being very chaotic, with Omar and Cedric going bananas, partially because they're high as fuck. Since they're jumping around like maniacs, the music tends to be super dissonant and out of tune, but they're really just there for the show.

an example of their live shows:
I have a friend that fanboys this band so hard that I have trouble getting into them.

Like, it's the only post-hardcore band he listens to and he talks about them errday.
I don't blame you, I'm guilty about stuff like that too. I get put off getting into something when people fanboy wayyyyy too hard over it.
They're still on my list to listen to someday, but I keep pushing it off.
Don't get into their live stuff. They're a little too out there with the chaos, same with their Mars Volta shows.

Buy Relationship of Command already, man.
They're not in my favorite list, but they're pretty good. One Armed Scissor is a cool song.
