But the lack of Opeth - Blackwater Park in prog metal is criminal

Pick a color fool. And thats backwards anyway. Album - Band (Genre) And just put it in the color you want. (Anything not super dark or light that hasn't been used.) Get with the program!

We need to split Metal up into sub genres, but Idk which ones are important and stuff, so someone should give me like 4 or so to split all those into.
Traced in Air- Cynic (Progressive Metal)
Blackwater Park- Opeth (Progressive Metal)
Lateralus- Tool (Progressive Metal)

This one taken or does it look different enough?

Edit: I guess it kinda looks like nate's but it's not

Edit: Edit: how about this?

Edit: Edit: Edit: FTS I'm colorblind

Edit: Edit: Edit: Edit: Too dark?
That's pretty much Grungie's color.
Sad Sad

changed it
Haha, you're good now though. We seriously need to change Phils color though, make it a little darker at least.

And Wolfy (I'm assuming you separated those) I was going to do that one first as well. We still need to separate some others. Would seperating ___-core genres be to small? Basically just separating Phils recs each under a different heading. I dunno, its difficult, because there are pretty much only 4 bands in each sub genre, but there are like 10 sub genres listed.
Yeah, I was thinking of doing that as well, but I wasn't sure.
We're kinda stuck between having the one section be too large or having the subsections be too small. But I guess we can assume that more will be added to each of the smaller sections? Stupid metal and every band being their own sub-genre.
I dunno mang D:
If I had time I would do it. Maybe if I actually get this lab done.

Nastyn8, post-hardcore is such a wide genre, that it comprises of anything from Paramore to Like Moths To Flames. I think it's very similar to the Alternative metal/rock genre; it's not so strictly defined.

Not even gonna be a genre nazi here, but Paramore is nowhere near post-hardcore. If they're labeled as any punk genre, they're more pop-punk since I don't any hardcore style in their music. I would label Taking Back Sunday more post-hardcore (well their first 2 albums)

yes sir. nail on the head.
and debbie, i feel like i keep picking on you, but I don't think that's the correct way to use the word wigger. that may be a cultural thing tho.
