I get really annoyed when people say that about the South. It's true, but it's also true for everywhere else in America and beyond.
Tbh it's not even that bad, and it's also kind of pathetic reading on UG where they're all SJW over shit, but it's okay for them to make all these posts stereotyping the entire south by likening them to the Westboro Baptist Church and think everyone's a klan member.

I guess it's okay to because they're white.

I was visiting my aunt and uncle in Utah- the only non-ultra conservatives in my family who always say they hate racism. They are also self-proclaimed 'liberals'.

They bragged to me about underpaying Mexicans to do their yard work and complained about how there's more crime in their area because more black people are there now. They can fuck off; it's way worse than the SJ guys on UG.

(I can get away with this silly anecdotal stuff in the venting thread 8) Way too many of these posts are just about my family and the people immediately around me though, I need to complain about Farage and the Arizona state legislature more).

Just realised that was probably In Cognito.

I remembered your name I still <3 you please forgive me. ;_;
Idk, the SJW shit on UG pisses me off more, cuz I don't run into people like you do. Also I run into more moderate people instead of ultra-conservatives, so all this pseudo-intellectual liberal shit also annoys the fuck out of me.
I'm cool with moderate conservatives (I actually know a few too; not everyone I know is one of those people).

I know some of 'those' liberals too. Most of the time they don't annoy me because they at least have good intentions, even if they come off as silly some times. There are a few annoy me (on the internet and in real life) only because they are hypocritical and/or closet racists.
Idk, I hate being around people living in lala land, and they usually try to act intelligent to compensate for their stupidity.

Maybe it has to do with how much it affects the local population, and the fact my school in Mississippi was 65% black, so we were instead learning ebonics.
:haha:

I was saying it's weird how I recall having French classes in my early childhood but you didn't.

I'm all about moderation. I cannot think of anything that is good in extremes except for theoretical things. Most conservatives I know are moderate (probably all of them, mind you) whereas a lot (but by all means not all) of (social) liberals I know are either extreme, deluded or idiotic/uneducated.

Heck, even "moderate" Nazism wouldn't be that bad if you think about it, provided a theoretical Nazi was against actually killing people off or being a racist d-bag and what have you. If he merely believed that improving the gene pool was a good idea, without going through extremist forms of eugenics (i.e. neutering and/or killing people without their consent), I'd think that isn't necessarily a bad opinion to have.

"Black people are scary."
"Are you kidding?"
"Maybe. But really though, fuck Asians."

And then I get a tirade on why Asians are scum. This is from last week, the most recent new person I've met.
This happens way too much with me, albeit on a lesser level. Every once in a while I'll hear someone I previously thought was okay or even cool say something heinous, usually uneducated and hypocritical. Rarely is it racist though.

Lol, I was actually kind of half-serious about that. Funny story that's sort of related though.

When my dad's cousin was a little kid, they lived in a town that was almost entirely black, and he was the only white kid in his class. The teacher (who was also black) was walking around with a picture of Martin Luther King Jr and asking if anyone knew who he was. He stopped in front of my dad's cousin, and the kid said "I don't know, some nigger?". He went to the principal's office, and his mom was embarrassed as hell, cuz he clearly got it from his dad.

He's an interesting character though. I heard on his first day of kindergarten, his teacher asked "does anyone know their colors or numbers?" and he said "it's the first day of class, how the hell am I supposed to know this?"
Geezus :haha:
He's still a silly guy, a thing involving him, is that every time when we're in town and stop at that Walmart, we always run into him there, and he doesn't work there. I'm not used to running into family members at Walmart.
