Actually statswise I wouldn't be surprised if Antarctica was technically the safest place on earth. I doubt very many people die there each year. Though it does have a questionable population size.
I once got into an argument with my highschool physics teacher about whether of not Antarctica has a popyulation. People live there, bu t they aren't permanent and they don't have like a government.
