You misunderstood me. They have maybe one or two mutual friends (often these 2 friends are siblings), but I don't know them personally IRL. I want to keep my friends list to a minimal low so I'm always reluctant to accept a request.
With you it's different because there was no way I'd know a girl living in Miami IRL, so I'd put her in the e-contacts category considering that most of her friends were other e-contacts. Some people who friend-request me have absolutely zero connection to me and sometimes even live on the other side of the world, so I have no reason to add them. Heck, for the longest time, I didn't know that this one dude "Trent" was Grungie (previously only known as Horsedick.MPEG), so for a few months after he requested, he stewed in my inbox hrug:
Until I clicked on a link in his UG sig that led me to "Trent"s Facebook. Then I caught on :p
I have rejected friend requests from good-looking lasses in the past hrug: I've also had fake accounts add me as well, and I'm pretty sure one of them was a catfish.
or maybe I'm just too proud to say otherwise, but you'll never find out muhahahahaha
