So as of now, Aldnoah.Zero is my favorite show to ever have been shown (think I might've said that about Psycho Pass, but I think I was just over-hyped). Considering it's an anime about war, the story SHOULD be simple, but it has quite a few twists. And there's literally never a dull moment.
As a bonus, everyone often compliments the soundtrack. I wish they didn't block it on YT so I could listen/share.
Someone else who enjoys mecha and is not me should watch it. I'd tell Sam, but I'm guessing he's too busy to even catch up on SAO2. Dude just got married, after all. :p
You know, thinking back, I think I might've been a little disappointed with SAO for the wrong reasons. I think it's because all along I was expecting a sifi action rather than a sifi drama. It's pretty clear they tried to deliver on the action, which turned out ok, but it was still definitely leaning on the drama side, and I think that's where I was disappointed. As a drama, I guess it wasn't that bad. Loads better compared to the first season, anyways.
