After seeing Captaincanti's "depression" thread, I can't help but feel very unsympathetic when I see the 18 billionth thread from a high schooler complaining about "depression" as it seems like every friggen high schooler apparently has "depression".
After hearing this shit constantly in high school, and still seeing it all over the internet, I've gotten to the "yawn next" phase. It seems like every teenager hits a bump in their life and goes "baw I have depression" and comes off as a plea for attention, as usually people come in and go "oh you poor thing". Though when I read their "depression" it comes off like typical teen angst or just typical issues everyone goes through.
Idk, it seems like half the time I see people moan about "depression", it doesn't seem like a very serious issue and takes away attention from people who actually have depression.
