Yeah, what he said was very abrupt and formal. It wasn't hostile as such, but it was very blunt. That style of speech is something I've seen in a number autistic people - but then it's also seen in other people too. He seems very particular, so it's possible he is on the spectrum, but no conclusions can really be drawn from some posts on the internet, obviously. It's possible it's his upbringing that's made him so like that. It's a shame it makes him an ass, because he sounds like he needs support, whether professional or simply in form of a friend or family member or something.
It almost seems like he just wants to start arguments, like he just assumes people are wrong. He automatically jumps on someone without considering anything beforehand, he just attacks them to assume a position of being "right", which is ultimately irrelevant because shows are subjective, as we all know. But clearly he doesn't really truly realise it, so he ends up making gaffs and mistakes, but refuses to believe it.
