^ I agree.

Silly Schecter, the headstock on that guitar is clearly based on an Ibanez.

I have a new song idea in an odd tuning:
E: D#
A: G#
D: C
G: D#
B: G#
E: C
RE: Community Thread - wwf - 07-18-2013
interesting tuning.
RE: Community Thread - Grungie - 07-18-2013
It's an odd open tuning. I learned about it while learning this song:

That Schecter instagram is making me feel so glad I am not into that style of music anymore, without doing what Ian did. :p
Schecter sux anyway lololo
Edit: I thought the tuning thing was a joke at first to go along with the metal conversation. >_> That could be interesting though. Since it's obviously an open tuning I should have known better, since it's not drop Z or something.
RE: Community Thread - JCizzle - 07-18-2013
Drop Q with gain at 11, drive at 11, presence at 11, lows at 11, highs at 0, reverb at 0, EMG pickups
RE: Community Thread - Grungie - 07-18-2013
Another fun tuning is FGCFCF:

I love experimenting with tunings. Open C is by far my favorite though, I've almost used it exclusively for maybe a year now and it never gets old.
RE: Community Thread - WCPhils - 07-19-2013
D# Standard and C# Standard are my two favorite.
Never even go into Standard anymore since there is no point. I can just use a capo
