Are you guys really that bad at rhythm playing? I never really thought of it as that hard.
Maybe it's because I started learning guitar to Green Day and SOAD.

The rhythm parts are actually easy. The lead for some reason wants to go off even though I'm following a metronome.

Getting the rhythm down can be difficult in non-lame genres like flamenco.
But then again, non-lame genres don't differentiate between 'rhythm' and 'lead' the same way many rock and metal musicians do. :p
