Ha, the funny thing about those types is that you can bring up Mao or Stalin and say, "It didn't work then. Why would it work now?". They just collapse, like they had no idea of the history of it all.

Well they know about those people, but they don't really know about their policies and what they actually did.

Oh man :haha:

He's so clichéd it's fantastic. Like a caricature. He is aware you can have a funeral without a church right?

I've never understood why people don't get that communism hasn't worked so far and it's not exactly likely to in the future. People like power, we seem to naturally gravitate to a hierarchy system, whether we like it or not. Learn some basic history.

His biggest problem, is that he's an ignorant 17 year old. We all had that one kid in high school that was like that.

He also started a thread talking about Communism has such great ideas, and he loves Karl Marx. I looked at his profile, and his birthdate was 1997. Explains everything.
:haha:

Exactly my point. Add Enver Hoxha to the list while you're at it.

Thing is, from a purely theoretical standpoint, I'd consider myself a socialist in principle, because YEAH! SHARING!, but a capitalist in practice, since it's the best we've got at the moment and obviously communism has never worked out.

That's what I mean. You bring up how Mao's policies caused the death of millions of Chinese and how China didn't become a world power until began to embrace capitalist practices...and their arguments just fall apart. It's like they could be bothered to check wikipedia for the very basics.

Same. I mean, socialism really has never worked. Ever since the first failed experiments. Even Europe, which people think is socialist, is pretty much capitalist.

Yeah, the friggen Great Leap Forward was actually a great leap backwards and caused mass famine. Especially with the 4 Pests Campaign which was supposed to increase rice production, but did the exact opposite. Thanks Communism.

My favorite thing about these Commie kids, is how they tend to wear designer brand clothes, and own a bunch of Apple products.

Yesterday on my run (which I do every other day) I fell while running and landed on a rock full force with my knee. Today is is quite swollen and painful and has prevemted me from doing some standard things. Fun stuff.

Now you can "officially" be lazy.
