Well, OP, actually. That forum wasn't sophisticated enough to distinguish between the opening post and thread-started/opening poster. (´・É・`)
Edit: TL;DR:
I fall in love with a sweet, innocent girl (^ that girl (´・É・`) ). At first it seems like one of her friends will help me getting her, and then everything starts going wrong and the girl has to leave due to unrelated circumstances. By then, her friend is basically falling for me and I stay to comfort her while never truly losing my original love. (´・É・`)
That's the end of the story in that link. What follows is that we stay together for some time until the girl's friend dies in... tragic circumstances and I also have to go away for some time and am not available to continue posting. After some more time, I'm released, however and continue my pursuit of the love of my life.
And finally I'm getting together with her (´・É・`)
