RE: The Venting/Ranting/Hugging Thread! - JCizzle - 04-06-2013 Wow, geezus, dude. RE: The Venting/Ranting/Hugging Thread! - Adam - 04-06-2013 lol for a second i wasn't sure if i posted that in the right thread RE: The Venting/Ranting/Hugging Thread! - JCizzle - 04-06-2013 Haha it's not like derailing is unheard of here. RE: The Venting/Ranting/Hugging Thread! - JCizzle - 04-17-2013 Man... looking at what happened yesterday in Boston hit me hard. Combine this with personal issues and I'm in a pretty bad/anxious/depressed/existential mood. The more time goes by, the more agoraphobic I become and the more I feel like moving up north to become a hermit. To think shit like this can happen at any time, anywhere, without warning. It's things like this that make me wonder if it's worth having loved ones. I don't think I could deal with finding out someone I love deeply was killed or permanently maimed or disfigured in a terrorist attack. RE: The Venting/Ranting/Hugging Thread! - Adam - 04-17-2013 I personally think you shouldn't let it in your head too much, and that's coming from someone who lives in a place where all the time there are chances of getting killed by actual terrorist attacks. Lemme put it this way, living your life in the fear you're going to lose the people you love and get killed is a horrible way to live. The media exaggerates everything as well, i haven't followed the story a lot but last time i checked they didn't know if it even was a terrorist attack. What i'm basically saying, it's better to live your life and to love and lose, than to live in fear and always be alone. RE: The Venting/Ranting/Hugging Thread! - carlcockatoo - 04-17-2013 Hey Adam what part of Israel do you live in if you don't mind me asking? RE: The Venting/Ranting/Hugging Thread! - Adam - 04-17-2013 A little town in a place called Emek Hefer (i'm curious to hear you guys pronounce that lol) It's basically in middle Israel, next to a gross city called Natania. RE: The Venting/Ranting/Hugging Thread! - carlcockatoo - 04-17-2013 I was just wondering because I've imagined Israel to be mostly safe as long as you don't live near a border (regardless of which border it is). From what I just saw Natania does look a bit ugly, but at least it's not Oklahoma City. RE: The Venting/Ranting/Hugging Thread! - Adam - 04-17-2013 There have been plenty of attacks at places at middle Israel, also what you should really worry about is people we call in here "Arses" (ars in arab means pimp). They're kinda like gangsters, they like to listen to horrible music, smoke and beat up people (mostly people their age and yonger). They're usually 'religious', and thus they won't bother people too much on friday/saturday. There are a lot of citys like Natania unfortunately RE: The Venting/Ranting/Hugging Thread! - carlcockatoo - 04-17-2013 Sounds like everywhere minus the terrorist attack part. There are plenty of Oklahoma City's around too. |
