Like, how mature? Is there hand holding?
Also, yea, it's all laid back and they have jobs and stuff

Yay you're watching it! :3
And yeah, that's what I had tried to explain. I did say it was pretty realistic, after all. It's more like a drama in a work setting than it is a sol. But don't let that initial impression fool you. The girls don't have to be in school to be cute. You learn to love all the characters and it makes the drama more relatable, in a way.

I'll start on it tomorow, since I'll finally be done putting off the end of Maria Holic. Probably my least favorite Shaft show so far.

All that waiting and it wasn't even your favorite. :haha:

Part of me pushing it aside was because I was too busy, the other part was because I didn't have that much motivation to finish it. Though I will finally persevere. I finish almost every anime I watched, except SAO and Natsuiro Kiseki, which are the only shows I officially dropped. I might pick back up SAO II though.

Actually, you were just a few episodes away from finishing the first arc of SAO II.
Not sure if you knew it worked in arcs again, but yeah, the whole gun gale thing was only the first half. (14/24 eps) Then a recap ep. Then a shorter 3 ep thing. And another and then the rest had a different plot which, in terms of drama, was pretty serious.

>recap episode
lame Reminds me of the second season of Railgun where the first arc was 16 episodes, then a couple slice of life episodes, then ended with an original arc that concludes one of the characters.

Accel World doesn't have mechs, it has awesome avatars. Gargantia has a max of like... THREE mechs. It's not even like an intense action anime. Though the action it does have is awesome. Gargantia focuses more on the story and throws in some big plot twists. And although I didn't technically say "Void, watch this", I DID get you into Nichijou. And I ain't trying to school you in dramas foo, I'm trying to school you in what to expect from Shirobako and cute girls. |
