But it seems like me and this book are jixed or something because everytime I start it I stop for some reason. On of these days I will sit down and force myself to read like the first five chapters or something because it is definetly a series I want to read.

I should probably worry about finishing the Mistborn series and all of the other Brandon Sanderson books first though.
I am excited to see how The Well of Ascension ends tomrrow. I will be at the library anyway so I can check the third one out while I'm there.

I also want to read The Sword of Truth series. I watched a couple episodes of the TV show and liked it (about two or three years ago) and I never did read the books.

Well, the TV shows are based on the book. Although, a lot of the stuff in the shows never happened in the book. Goodkind was heavily involved in the TV show. Unfortunately, it didn't gain a large following and ended up only running for 2 seasons.
That said, I'm very much a fan of The Sword of Truth series. It's excellent, from start to finish. Terry Goodkind also wrote a trilogy which are kind of "aside novels" to the SoT, Chainfire trilogy, which basically covers/expands on some unexplained/under-explained events from SoT. Then, there's a book that happens after the events of SoT, called The Omen Machine. I've yet to read the non-main books. |
