You watching the dub or sub? I personally recommend the dub because it "makes more sense" in English. Especially when people are from the Church of England, and there's a ton of English terms.

Be a bit odd to hear a guy from the Anglican Church talking in Japanese. hrug:
Yeah, they didn't dub season 2 yet, and I found it weird seeing the archbishop of the English church speaking Japanese... In London.
Later on in the season, you're gonna see two characters named Accelerator and Last Order and their names were awkward in Japanese.

Well their names were exactly the same, so hearing Engrish words always urk me. Kind of like all those terms in Accel World.
I have the downloaded episodes that have the voice actor commentaries for a few episodes, and some of them are hilarious. It also made me realize that Index's voice actor sounds exactly the same in real life, which is really irritating hearing her in the commentaries.

Yeah, whenever there's an English word in the middle of a Japanese sentence, it always pops out at me. hrug: Quote:I have the downloaded episodes that have the voice actor commentaries for a few episodes, and some of them are hilarious. Imagine trying to be her. "I can't stand the sound of my own voice!" Makes me feel bad for her.
One thing I always found interesting in the show is how outside of having Imagine Breaker, Touma is just a regular person. So seeing him kick people's asses who have supernatural powers with normal street fighting was always intriguing to me.
Also since the series is shorter, the fight scenes don't take 6 episodes.

Saw a couple episodes of a show yesterday called UraBoku, it's not bad (English name I guess is Betrayal Knows My Name). It has a demon hunting plot with so shojo stuff

If you wanna watch a good shojo romance, you should check out "Say I Love You"
Quote:Quiet and unassuming Mei Tachibana is 16-years-old, but has spent her high school years without making friends or getting a boyfriend because of a childhood incident that left her believing that people will betray each other sooner or later. When she encounters a popular boy named Yamato Kurosawa he becomes interested in her, and it is through their tentative friendship and blossoming relationship that Mei ultimately begins to branch out and befriend others. 9/10 watched it twice. |
