Nigga what.

My logic hurts.
My favorite line is: "I kinda do believe in ghosts, so that must mean I believe in heaven, but I don't, so I must not believe in ghosts"
Yeah, what? :haha:
Maybe Mr Maps can enlighten me on this.

What the fuck is it with the English and vehement hatred of religion?

It seems like 98% of the time I read that a person is opposed to religion or is an antitheist, they're from England. Nothing personal towards the English, but I just find it incredibly odd.
98% is too high of a percentage, I know plenty atheists and antitheists from the US.
In that case it's probably not 98% high, but it's still high nonetheless.

And I'm not talking just atheist, but specifically those who are opposed to religion and/or theism.
Man, that Vilk guy on UG who loves pretending he's an expert on Japan is pretty idiotic about the country he's supposedly so knowledgeable on:

Quote:I'm living in a society that is like 99% atheist. I don't need to brag about being atheist, because no one would even understand why I'm saying it, because that there is no god and religious people are weirdos is a given.

There's a few things wrong here:

1: Shintoism is polytheistic, which is almost the opposite of atheism
2: the sect of Buddhism they practice (Mahayana) isn't atheist
3: there's tons of religious people in Japan, and seeing Buddhist monks is not uncommon, and people visit shrines fairly regularly for several events and such (let's not even get started on various traditions and practices)

Basically this guy think's he's Mr. Japan, but doesn't really know shit. Atheist society my ass.
