The guys I was talking about looked to be 20-somethings.
So basically classic rock stations have been playing 80's hair metal for most of their lives? Its not like its a new development.
Here, the biggest "classic rock" station plays 95% songs from the early '00s and the '90s.
I'm not a fan of radio hits from the early 00's really. I really like By The Way which came out in 2002, so I like some stuff from then a lot, but as far as the general trend, not the best in my opinion. Theres a time and a place for it.
On a different note, idk if I mentioned this before, but I recently found out that Google released the Google Play Music app for iPhone, which I find a godsend.
Anyway, I have two Android devices with the same app, and I find it sad that it runs smoother and better on my iPhone than both of those Android apps, and it's the app made for Android's music store
It's probably got to do with how iOS is pretty uniform across the platforms, and it has to go through Apple before it goes on the store, it's guaranteed to run good on iOS devices unless you have a pretty old device. The "problem" with Android, is that some Android devices run better than others, so what works really well on say a Galaxy SIII won't work as well on say a Nexus phone.
Yeah, I'm sure there are a lot of pros and cons there.
