Actually I think its your fault I like them Debbie, haha. I mean I'd heard of them before, but I seem to remember you saying something about them or something, and I watched the Fatty Boom Boom video and I was like "What the fuck is this? This is crazy!". I avoided them for a while but then I was curious about what their other music videos were like, and once I kinda figured out what they're like in general I started to like them. I appreciate their "Fuck Mainstream Society" attitude.
But yeah, before I started listening to them I wouldn't have thought I'd end up liking something like that.
Fun story for those who aren't on my Facebook. The rare chance it snowed it Atlanta and the entire metro area freaks out and there are traffic jams everywhere so my dad was stuck in traffic all night for 14 hours. He left work at around 6 and got home at 8:30 this morning with zero sleep.
oh dude i was just looking at the pics of how fucked the south was from this. you guys really don't like snow huh?
lol, the south is stupid sometimes

Well when it snows that much once every 4-5 years you can't really expect people to know how to act when it happens.
To be completely honest, the ice on the roads is ridiculous, and none of these areas are actually equipped to deal with snow since it rarely happens. So basically before any snow plow or ice truck could get anywhere, the traffic gets jammed by tons of accidents caused by semi's losing control on the ice.

This shit isn't really funny.
can anyone else just not get into the rap genre at all?
I want to like it a lot but I just can't
Every album that everyone says is amazing is the same exact experience for me every time. I'll really really like 2 or 3 songs on the album, and then the rest of the album is a complete meh-fest where I'm lucky if I make it through half the songs. Kanye's two newest albums, all of Eminem's, the new Kendrick Lamar, Wu Tang, Jay Z, Tupac....
Lamar's new album has M.a.d.d City which is fantastic and one or two other songs, and then every other song is soooooooo slow and boring.
I can't think of one I like all the way through. I guess some Beastie Boys, but do they even count?
hmmm
i'd recommend shabazz palaces, death grips, A$AP rocky, captain murphy, any of those are usually really dynamic artists
on a music note warp records keeps throwing great artists at me and i think they're my favorite record label now

Aww lol dude maad city is by far the worst track. I kinda don't get how you can call it boring, there's so much to listen to if you're listening closely, both lyrically and musically and it's just a great album to have on and chill in the background too. Those hooks all over the place. Have you read about the story and tried to put it together with the songs? That helps and makes it a lot more interesting.

I am like that with a lot of rap though and I wish I knew more albums and stuff. But rap when it's great is the coolest shit. Maybe you'd like Danny Brown's newest album? It's kinda split into a more introspective first half and a harder and crazier second half and most of it's really cool.
Also most of those rappers aren't all that interesting lol, don't judge it based on Eminem and Jay Z. Not that I dislike them or anything but they aren't the most exciting.
^Those are better recommendations
edit: ya bish
I'm surprised it was the Semi drivers Grungie, they should know how to drive. I don't get why people are so retarded. I've only driven on snow/ice like twice in my life but I still know that you just have to slow down to a reasonable speed and then just keep going. Its the dumbasses who still try to go fast that end up killing people.
And I like some Emminem and Macklemore, but really Die Antwoord is the only rap I listen to any kind of regularly. I don't care for any gangster rap type stuff at all.

Well my dad said he was slipping pretty badly on the roads and he's used to driving on ice. The problem was that there's some hilly areas and cars slip really easily on those.
