i have a pretty nice stereo in my room
my dad won't let me mod his car stereo so i can't use a line-in
CDs it is for now i guess
and i do use FLAC when possible but not on CDs, mp3 or WAV on those
and i find analog good if the music was from an analog master.
if i see one more digitally remastered re-issue of a record i'm gonna rip some record exec's head off
Wait, you use FLAC but not for CD's? You're supposed to burn CD's with lossless files, not with MP3.

You missed my point where I said cassettes sound like shit.

It's a no brainer why those got phased out. Analog always superior my ass.
There's also the fact that a lot of cassettes...there wasn't as much capability to filter out the bad stuff. The advantage of course was that musicians/singers really had to be spot on. But disadvantage was that, if there was a certain frequency that we might cut today, the technology might not have been there to cut it.
I swear cassettes were stereo, I know older vinyls were in mono. Unless cassettes are the same way with the older releases in mono.

Sorry. I edited that. 'Cause you'r right; cassettes are stereo. Or, at least, they have the capability to be stereo. I don't know if the reason old cassettes don't have as clear a sound is because older ones were mono or because of what my edit talks about.
The biggest problem I see with analog, is that there isn't a universal speed with vinyl and cassette players. They all play at different speeds, so one player will be too fast, or one player will be too slow. The expensive ones have adjustable speed, but other than that, you're stuck with it not playing correctly. Also not every tape or record is pressed at the same speeds.
Also Sam might be excited to see that this winter the
2 hour Sword Art Online Special is airing.

YES! YES! YES!
Reminds me, I need to catch up on SOA. I haven't watched it in quite a while.
How far did you get in Certain Magical Index? I need someone to talk to about the show. Inst isn't an option.

Iirc, 3 episodes. I've been bombarded with class projects and test for the last 6 weeks or so, lol.
So basically when Tohma saves Index?
It's gonna be boring talking to Inst about the show, since he's just gonna talk about how kawaii the show is and ignore any other aspect of the show.
