That's weird though, I just thought that was the widely accepted name for the fans.
It is, but it's just such a nasty-sounding word. It sounds like some kind of drug dealer slang. I try to distance myself from the fandom these days.
Brony sounds like a special type of pedo. So I understand why you don't like the term.
