Also President Kuroko.
Idk if this was intentional, but her name means black child, so idk if they chose her because Obama's black, or it's just a coincident.
The title is short for A Certain Magical Index (or To Aru Majutsu no Index in Japanese) and it's about this boy named Touma Kamijou who lives in Academy City, a place filled with Espers. He has an ability called Imagine Breaker where he can cancel out super natural abilities, but in turn cancels out his luck. Outside of that, he has no powers.
One day he meets a young nun named Index, and her head is filled with several hundred thousand grimoires that are banned by the Catholic Church. With this encounter, he finds out about the secret world of magicians, and gets dragged into their rivalry and conflict with the esper world.
that sounds pretty cool! do you guys recommend dub or sub?
Personally I think the dubbed voices sound pretty good, most of them either sound pretty much the same, and a few like Misaka sound closer to their age than the Japanese VA's do, which is kind of strange, as usually the English voices sound a lot older than the Japanese VA's.
Also I think it makes more sense when they show a bunch of people from the Church of England and they're actually speaking English.
cool, cool, cool. i'll give it a try tonight.
Just saw episode 3 of SAO II, looks like they're explaining Sinon's character more. Looks like she's gonna meet up with Kirito and he saves her from being attacked.
just finished ep 1 of index. i'm liking it a lot so far. also the op and ed thenes have a pretty different sound than current ones. it almost sounds like a throwback to the 90's
haven't watched SAO. had to cancel my cr for a few days. i'm hitting the bottom of my wallet dealing with people not giving me money they owe and my paycheck doesn't come till friday. :/
I wasn't a fan of the OP and ED in Index.
Gekkan Shoujo is pretty funny so far. They have some really eccentric characters, like the female prince that all the girls are in love with, and the guy who's the basis for the female lead in the shojo manga they're making (and he doesn't know it's him).
hahaha, that sounds great!
