I've started watching Attack on Titan
And by that i mean all my friends said it's the best thing ever so i watched the first episode, and then it was getting late so i needed to go to bed but i couldn't sleep the entire night because of it. When i get more time i'm gonna watch the shit outta that.
Just the first episode was so intense, there really isn't much else i could say about it...
Anyone else watching it?

I started watching it. I need to finish the season. It definitely is intense as shit, and the writers don't spare characters at all. Hell, at one point, I thought they were killing off the main character...
I ignored Attack on Titan largely because of the hype. I was expecting to be disappointed like Sword Art Online.
I'm curious if Sam finished it or not.
yeah i ignored it too at first because everyone was praising it, but at some point you just gotta see for yourself what's all the fuss is about
I've also rewatched Shaman King a little while ago, great anime. Probably the first one i've ever watched too, it was on tv when i was like, 8, 9 maybe?
And i'll start watching the second season of Korra when i get the time.
As far as Naruto Shippuden goes though, i've caught up to it, and now i'm waiting for a new episode every week... kinda sucks, it's not a show fitting watching one at a time with a long duration in between each episode... /sigh
Man, I totally forgot about Shaman King. I used to read the manga when they serialized it in US Shonen Jump, but then they dropped it and replaced it with other shit. I kind of want to know how it ended.
I remember watching some of the anime, but it's dubbed by 4Kids so I'm iffy on watching the dub now. I could always find the subs.
It was pretty great. Though i wasn't so happy with the ending, no spoilers, but lets just say they went for a cliche rather a more logical and overall better ending.
Oops, I totally forgot that I read about the ending on Wiki and was kind of disappointed.
I started on the second season of Certain Magical Index and disappointed it's not dubbed yet. Imo it makes more sense in English, especially when they have people from the Church of England speaking Japanese, especially the archbishop. The fansubs also have a nun from the Roman Catholic Church swearing, lol nuns can't swear.
Also the voice actors are casted better.
I generally prefer the english dubbed versions. Besides the fact it's sooooooo much easier for me to understand and requires far less concentration from me, this may sound kinda ignorant, but all japanese voices sound very similar to me. Just like how they look basically. So much so that it's hard to distinct two females or two males from each other.
For example in Naruto, the voices come to fit the characters so well, and after watching a few episodes in japanese it sounds so plain
I kind of understand with the girls sounding the same. I got pissed off listening to the English track on the game, Atelier Totori, because they all SOUNDED THE FUCKING SAME GAAAAH. Also the high pitch voices get annoying after awhile.
Well in Certain Magical Index, people bitched about the girls sounding too old to be 13 years old in the dub, but then you watch it in Japanese and some of them sound even older in Japanese:
Finally found the pic i was looking for
Also, i was recommended to watch an anime called "Gintama", dunno if you know it, but if you do, what do you think about it? It's supposed to be about aliens and samurais and be totally random and pretty funny, so i've been told
